Our client is a leading global provider of operations and maintenance services.
They are currently recruiting a design manager for a major long term contract. Working out of their west Sydney base, you will manage the provision of design services for a high volume of small to medium sized contracts.
This will be as much a business role as a design role, and you will be responsible for minimising the design cost so as to ensure the overall cost effectiveness of service delivery. This could potentially include introducing competition into the provision of design services or creating an in-house design capability.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior business-savy design engineer probably coming from a consultancy or utility, to step into a management role.
My client can pay up to $150,000 to the right candidate.
